Friday morning, It's sunny but cold. We decide to go to the Home Interior and Design show at BC Place in Downtown Vancouver. We have to go on the buses to Downtown so it takes about an hour' two buses and a short walk to get there.
BC Place was constructed in 1986 for the Expo exhibition. Its a sports venue with an unusual construction. The roof is a canvas construction. David Beckham is due to play there in November and the Spice Girl start their new Tour there on December 7th this year. It's also to be the venue for the Opening and Closing ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games
Entrance to BC Place. The construction in front of the venue is the Terry Fox memorial. The Cancer victim who walked across Canada.
A viewof the inside the stadium and the Home exhibition. It's a smaller version of the London Daily Mail Ideal Home Exhibition.
Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan the Glaswegian TV celebrity Interior designers from Britian are inflicted on an appreciative Vancouver audience. Complete with kilts and outsize 'Poppies' 
When we've exhausted ourselves walking around the exhibition and bagged enough 'freebies' we emerge in to the last afternoon sunshine and decide to walk along Robson Street. Probably Vancouvers answer to Londons Oxford Street.
Vancouver Art Gallery with the Vancouver Hotel behind. There is a Georgia O'keeffe exhibition on until January next year so I'm hoping to visit it when Nancy Lee is home.
Robson Square is an area that extends under and each side of the road above. The area in the center of the square is usually converted into an Ice Rink nearing Christmas Time
We pose long side the Eagle in Robson Square. It's beginining to look a bit shabbie as is the Square its self. We were first photographer here in1980 when it was fresh and new. It's soon to have a spruce up and makeover
We have a very nice dinner at Moxies restaurant before walking back along Robson Street to catch the buses back home to Richmond. Robson Street at night is bright and bustling. Rebecca would like it here There are so many good designer clothes shops
