Sun and Shirts

Day4
Blue skies and warm sunshine today. Not much on the horizon today. We had planned to go to Steveston for PaJo's fish and chips but Nancylee said 'No too crowded'. People going to see the 'Tall Ships'. She teaching this morning the University campus in Downtown Vancouver so we just relax until John arrived to take us to London Plaza shopping. The Canadian Tire shop bores us so we ring Dave who is happily browsing somewhere else in the store to tell him we were off to another store. The store we were heading for sells work wear and good quality clothes so he decided to forego Canadian Tire and join us.
Two pair of jeans, two shirts, some under wear, socks and a pair of braces (or suspenders if your Canadian) to hold his jeans up when he has his tool belt fastened to his waist, later. No wonder he joined us! We revived our selves with Tim Hortons coffee and a box of Tim Bits.
Lunch in Browns Social House A good place to eat. Then grocery shopping in Saveon before heading back home.
The whole of the Vancouver area is Canucks crazy at the moment. The Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins ice hockey teams are fighting it out for the Stanley Cup. Teams from the East of North America and teams from the West on North America play one another until the final two. These two teams then play seven games to find the overall winner. The first game was Thursday night and the Canucks won. Second game is tonight.Watch this space!!!
