Saturday June 18th.
It’s not a busy day. Nancylee needs to photocopy work sheets for her students on the SFU, on board, novel writing course, before we go for Dim Sum. We get to Gingeri restaurant in the Lansdown’s center early, but it’s so busy. We had booked but it didn’t make any different we still had to wait. The restaurant, one we been to several times before was bustling and noisy. The food is good at this restaurant, hence the crowds.
After lunch we decide not to shop but to head back home and pack for our cruise.
Later in the evening Nancylee and John arrive. They want to go for dessert at Dairy Queen in Steveston. It’s 9. 30 in the evening! No matter we pile in the car and go eat ice-cream. John assures us that late at night it’s not unusual to see people in their Pyjamas eating ice cream. That’s Canadians!
