Back to Reality

Sunday June 26th.

Dave and I both have a bad night sleep so wake this morning feeling edgy and groggy. We hastily pack our last few belongings into overnight bags. How did we accumulate so much extra luggage? A coffee and light breakfast is called for, so we head up to the Resort Deck's Island Café for the last time before assembling for our time to disembark.

We say goodbye to our luxurious home of the last week and disembark. It's a beautiful sunny, blue sky day, but still with a cool breeze in Vancouver.

The Ship docks once more at Canada Place.

Finding our cases in the mass of luggage wasn't too bad. Then through the line up at Canadian customs. The line moves quickly and is accomplished in record time. Out to the Parkade we quickly find two taxis cram our luggage in the trunk and head through Vancouver out to Richmond. Traffic is light this Sunday morning and from Parkade to home takes a record 20 minutes.

..........And so back to reality. Piles of washing to tackle! but maybe a cup of tea first.
