November 3rd. Remember, Remember.
At home I would have had our annual Guy Fawkes bonfire party tonight and the fireworks and bonfire would be in in Ferry Meadows then back to ours for food. Well, I know, they'll be over by now when I'm writing this. Here there were firework displays on Halloween. They have to be organised displays. No back yard bonfires here. Too many wooden houses.
It's been a very quite day today. Wet and damp outside so I put the finishing touches to my third painting this morning. Nancy cook a lovely dinner of roast chicken. We took a walk down to the veterinary surgery to get Kibbles for Sam and Toby. We knitted inbetween all this activity, well Dave surfed the Internet instead of knitting! The little jackets coming on well, I'll soon be onto scarves!
