Nancylee has a business meeting today so she doesn't arrive until just after noon. It's a grey day but has stopped raining as we pile into the car and head for Lansdown Mall. We only have a short wait for a table at Gingeri where we have Dim Sum for lunch. I like the tastes and flavours of Gingeri's Dim Sum. I think they serve some of the best dishes of the few restaurants we've been to.
Nancy is going to her hairdressers for a hair cut so Nancylee, Dave and myself scourer Future Shop and Best Buy for a flat screen television for Nancy. With Nancylee and Dave in charge it takes ALL the afternoon to scrutinise every suitable televisions specs and price and grill the shop assistants to get the best deal. I soon drop out of the negotiations as Nancy returns from a haircut. We go and get a large cup of tea and sit in the Mall people watching. Nancy thinks the television is for Nancylee and John!
The Mall shops are gearing up for the Christmas season and the Mall is being decorated around us while we wait.......... and wait......... and wait. Eventually when its dark out side I decide to go and see what they're up to. I find them just completing the deal. Even when the huge box is brought into the house Nancy doesn't realise it's for her. So we shock her!Later in the evening we meet up with John and Ralph, John's Dad, and Sally and Bob Breen for a meal at Fishermans. A really good Chinese restaurant in the Aberdeen Centre. It's Dave's last evening so we have Peking duck and lobster and this is the best place to have it. The conversation and company is so good and the time goes by quickly.

Back home ,while John takes Ralph back to his apartment in the West End Nancylee and Dave unpack the new television, assemble and program it. It's all done by the time John returns so he goes off with Dave to the pub for a couple of nightcap beers. They didn't have time to go to Home Depot to spend Dave's gift token. Oh Dear! More shopping tomorrow.
