More snow overnight, around another 2 inches here in Richmond and more elsewhere. The expected rain never arrived. A warm front is expected to arrive later in the week with torrential rains. The rain and the fast melting of the mountainous piles of snow is worring the authorities about the possibility of flooding. Metro Vancouver is resorting to loading snow in lorries and tipping it into the ocean to get rid of it. The cost of snow clearing has broken the city's allotted 'snow clearing' budgets many times over this year.
Today we had another 'crafty' day Nancy, now has enough cards to last for a couple of years now. Nancylee and I have increased our output today as we got into the swing of artistically cutting and gluing our paper and cards.
This evening we went down to the Steveston Community Center to the Steveston Knitting group and had a happy chatty couple of hours knitting with some of the local ladies.
I was really impressed with the Community Center It's large, light and airy, well looked after and for a relatively small community it's well used. It houses a public library and a workout gym and quite a few meeting rooms.

After the knitting group meeting broke up we retired to the local hostelry with Sally and did some more knitting and nattering and tackled this 'small'? order of Nachos. Goodness knows what a large order would be like! 
For some unknown reason this picture would not load the correct way but you can see the hugh pile of nachos, cheese, olives tomatoes and chillies!
Who knits in a pub. We did!

It's a good thing Dave and I weren't there - we would have had to sit at a table far away from the mad-knitters!
