So yesterday at Jade Restaurant 'Himself' has the first Chicken's feet!

This Morning it's wet, Very wet, state of emergency in Delta wet! The sea is up to the Dyke at Nancy and John's home. The water is high in the Frazer river and The Burrard Inlet. Still no point in staying home so we set out for Mandeville Garden Works.  http://www.gardenworks.ca/app/public/store_man.cfm  and have a mooch around the Christmassy decorations.

This is the biggest poinsettia I've ever seen on sale. It's at least a meter tall!

This Acer in the car park  get bigger, it's still in a pot, albeit one enormous pot
and it's branches are covered in thick lush green moss.

Next we drop Dave off at his favourite store, Lee Valley Tools http://www.leevalley.com/us/home.aspx while we drive off through the driving rain to the Yarn Store called 'Three Bags Full'  http://threebagsfull.ca/ They have some delicious yarns and I come out with almost a $100 worth!
Back through the rain to collect Dave from Lee Valley. Has he bought anything ? Of course he has. Hats! A light lunch was intended from White Spot...but their light lunches as any thing but light! Oh well.......Back home for some knitting recreation to work it off!!!
