Kitsilano

Monday, sees a very frosty morning. We've been here a week now it's flown past.  The weather's much better now the rains past for a time and we can see the mountains over in North Vancouver. Yesterday they were in sunshine and you could see clearly the lack of snow. The Ski runs are still closed. This morning there's a high cloud layer and the mountains are a dark indigo  hue.
Leaving Dave at a hardware store we head off to Urban Yarns in Kitsilano. The shop has relocated since I was last here. It's bigger and better but just as friendly and helpful. I find some beautifully soft cream baby alpaca and bamboo yarn and buy enough for a shawl for our expected sixth Great Grand child. There's such a selection of beautiful yarns.

Dave came to find us. normally we have to go and find him. Had we been in there so long?

We decide to have lunch at Banana Leaf, a malaysian restaurant. We elect to order the multiple taster lunch for four people. There was more food than we could eat so John, back home working, has a tasty 'doggie bag!' of leftovers.

Dave even enjoyed some of the hotter chilli dishes. Actually none of it was too hot! But it was all tasty.
