Wiiiiiii...........

Boxing day evening saw us piling into the car once more to go to Bob and Sally Breen's home for the evening. The roads were appalling after the days snow fall, but John negotiated them safely and we arrived to a warm welcome.

Sally and Bob have prepared a lovely spread of finger food, warm spiced apple cider and Mulled wine. The much admired, new, 52inch TV screen on the wall is displaying the 'Shaws' network log fire film. A real fire complete with sounds has been filmed and then sent out on a loop. Apparently Shaw wanted to abandon the sequence and show regular TV programs but there was such and outcry from all over BC that they relented and kept the 'fire'.

Later the teenagers are dislodged from the upstairs TV room and we commandeer it to play with the Wii. It's not easy for us novices but we have an hilarious time trying to master it.
