Sunday day 10 Snow!

We woke up this morning to nearly 4 inches of snow and freezing weather. Apparently we have more snow in Richmond than in Vancouver. The roads here get as chaotic as at home. Drivers here are not use to really cold freezing conditions although they do change to snow tires in the winter. John and Nancy's car is already for winter with snow tires.

.............. no relaxing in the garden today!

The wind chill temperatures tonight are expected to dip to -10 to -17 and the TV local news is dreading tomorrows commute to work.

Later in the afternoon Nancylee fetches us for dinner at their home with Ralph, John's father.

Nancylee and John's home is toasty with this hugh log fire heating the house.

These Canadians are sure strange........ John is barbecuing in the garden!!!

........................and steaks to feed a football team! OK so, as long as it's a 5 a side one.

...................and the snows still about . It's well below freezing!!!!

After a delicious barbecued dinner we retire to the lounge with Bailey's on Ice. John and Nancylee play Connect 4!
