Christmas Day

The 'big' day was a quite one for us. A roaring log fire and Christmas TV programs was the order of the day. Our meals were "meals on wheels' or brought in and prepared by Nancylee! John came over once he had watched Basketball games on the TV and after taken his Dad to the airport to catch his plane to Heathrow. Apparently Basketball is very big on Christmas Day here in Canada.
Nancy's friend dropped of presents on her way to work at the Vancouver's Childrens Hospital and later her sister Margaret dropped off more pressies of her way out.
We just has a 15 minute flurry of snow this morning otherwise it's been a bright, cold day. The temperature has been just above freezing for the first time for nearly 2 weeks. Thawing snow made little impact to the vast amount of snow lying on the ground.
