Last night it was quite an experience driving into Steveston last night. The roads had been driven on quite a bit before they were ploughed so although they were clear of the bulk of the snow there was still compacted snow on the roads. The kerbs were banked high as the paths had also been cleared. This made it fun parking and getting out of the car and across the the paths!
While we were eating the Steveston Santa Claus parade came past the restaurant. After the excellent meal we went back to John and Nancy's place where we knitted, wrapped parcels, drank baileys on ice and watched House on the TV. The boys went to the Pub!
Their side road hasn't been ploughed and driving through it is treacherous with high ridges of icy snow. By the time we left to go back to Francis Road it had started snowing yet again and before predicted .
