Well the weather forecasters got their calculations right. I woke during the night to hear rain , pouring rain.Not a sound we've been hearing at all this vacation. The morning light came dull and grey. Heavy clouds spilled their contents steadily over the parched soil. It's over a month since the Vancouver area had any rain. The last time it rained here we were in Calgary in hot sunshine.
For some reason everyone seems to be up early this morning. Even in the Vigna household. A call cane around 9am we're going out to breakfast and will be picked up in half an hour.

In the Steveston Hotel Cafe the menu is a typical North American breakfast fare. You're not meant to go away hungry!
After breakfast we drop John off back at their home to work and we go off to Lansdowne to the Apple repair shop to see if one of the laptops is repairable.There's a sale of computer accessories being held. I bought an all region voltage plug adapter with surge protection for only 10 bucks, bargain!
The rest of the day well it wet and miserable so we lounge about at home. The rain doesn't ease until late afternoon. 'Himself' was kept happy with his iPad. He's really taken to it and reads all the newspapers online now.
